Abstract

The Holy Qurʻān is the divine book of Allah almighty that is guideline for mankind in every aspect of life. Splendid rules have been prescribed about family life including marriage, progeny and sanctity of relations. As Islam presents fabulous example of tolerance so in its attitude to the question of interfaith marriages, the situation is different from Judaism and Christianity. Islam allows interfaith marriages with some terms and conditions. An attempt has been made to define affixed rules regarding interfaith marriages in the light of the Holy Qurʻān and its Exegesis.
